Mindfulness Area

Free

In honor of the great yogis of the past who attained enlightenment beneath trees, we’ve created peaceful meditation spots nestled under their shade.

Take a moment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. You’ll find mindfulness bells to gently invite stillness and spread calm vibrations across the space.

Feel free to grab a cushion from the lounge area near your room and make yourself comfortable as you settle into a moment of quiet presence.

Library and Lounge

Free

A quiet haven for reflection, reading, or simply watching the world go by — our library room is furnished with books and cozy seating designed for comfort and calm. Sink into a soft armchair with a book in hand as natural light pours in.

Through the large windows, enjoy breathtaking views of the Paro Dzong and the valley below — a perfect backdrop for quiet contemplation or getting lost in a story.

Drangja Goenpa Hike

Nu. 1000 for a guided hike

Embark on a quick adventure just steps away from our hotel—a delightful hike that offers a perfect blend of nature, spirituality, and breathtaking vistas. The Drangja Goenpa Hike takes approximately an hour, making it an ideal excursion for guests seeking a refreshing escape without sacrificing too much time.

The hike runs along a charming farm road, leading you towards the sacred Drangja Goenpa temple that sits atop of a hill. This spiritual haven holds a significant place in our local Bhutanese history and culture as one of the seats of the five Tsheringma goddesses. Take a moment to immerse yourself in the serene ambiance and perhaps even seek the blessings of the temple before continuing your journey.

Beyond the temple lies a captivating reward—a panoramic view of the lush green paddies and the picturesque Paro Valley. Behold the breathtaking landscape and let the natural beauty of Bhutan mesmerize your soul.

The hiking trail, being a farm road, is a gentle and enjoyable path suitable for both novice and experienced hikers alike. Wander through the pine forests, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and feel the blessed positive energy of the temple guiding your every step.

Explore the hike at your own pace as it can be easily done alone. However, for those who prefer a more guided experience, we offer our guide service for a nominal fee of Nu 1000.
